Kwartje Beun
25 euro art vending machine
Kwartje Beun is an original mechanical vending machine, designed to work on "kwartjes" (25 gulden cent). This machine was modified to accept card payments instead, without modifying any of the original parts. By adding internal servo's and switches to control the locking mechanism, and an old android phone to control the whole setup, Kwartje Beun can be used as a vending machine for small objects.
The only parts added to the machine are:
- an old android phone
- an old android phone
- a microcontroller
- 2 end stop switches
